Virtual Vehicle :: Aerodynamics
The aerodynamics study is based on CFD during which a simulation of vehicle's movement into a fluid is taking place. Vehicle's aerodynamics affects its stability and noise propagation in the passenger's cabin.

The methods application starts with closing any gaps in the cad model, reducing its complexity and discritizating its surfaces.

The FEM models are then calculated using the CFD software and the produced data are used to visualize the results. Aerodynamic analyses are mainly concerned with pressure variation on the vehicle's surfaces, as well as, the fluid's speed differences around the vehicle's body.
